Commands

Keystone installs about forty commands, each with one job. Every command prints its full usage with --help, and most accept --json for structured output.

Install and maintain

Command	What it's for
`keystone`	Install, check, update, repair, roll back, and remove the Keystone commands on this machine, through `keystone machine`.
`kstoolchain`	Build Keystone from source, publish releases, and choose which builds are active. For contributors.

Memory, context, and text

Command	What it's for
`ksmem`	Project memory: stones for decisions, tasks, and evidence.
`ksctx`	Context packs built from recipes, each with a manifest and an explanation of every source.
`ksctx-plugin-pg`	Search and export PostgreSQL database objects as context.
`kstext`	Find characters that are hard to see, such as zero-width and direction controls, and make a normalized copy of a text.

Models

Command	What it's for
`kshub`	Model routes, provider calls and credentials, review panels, and cost reports.

Planning and delegation

Command	What it's for
`ksgoal`	Goals: the lasting purpose behind a piece of work, linked to the plans, directives, and merges that serve it.
`ksplanner`	Plans, reusable workflows, and their runs.
`ksdispatch`	Directives: exact instructions for agents, with approval, handoff, report, and close.
`kshandoff`	The Handoff Board, which carries work between agent sessions and lanes.
`ksloop`	Declared decision loops: validate a lifecycle, and verify the receipts of its transitions.

Running agents

Command	What it's for
`ksrun`	Run approved agent work in a bounded workspace, keep its receipts, and stop work with an andon hold.
`kslane-supervisor`	Supervise an agent lane: pick up approved directives, run them, and record the results.
`kslane-conductor`	Start or resume a Planner run and drive its stages as model sessions.
`kscompute`	Register and admit your own machines for agent runs, with deadlines the host enforces.
`ksidentity`	Agent executions and the one-use authority credentials they spend.
`ksagent`	Agent seats: the lasting identity that agent work is attributed to.

Review and landing

Command	What it's for
`kswork`	Set up a project, see its status, and find the work waiting for you.
`ksreview`	An early set of review commands, backed by fixtures.
`ksassurance`	Check the evidence behind agent-authored work before it lands, and record the result.
`ksledger`	Source control: proposals, branches, pull requests, merges, and recovery when a response is lost.

`ksvantage`	One compact read of what needs your attention across the work.
`ksattention`	Track what a particular person or agent needs to see.
`ksdesktop`	Inspect and drive Keystone Studio from the command line, for testing.

Sessions

Command	What it's for
`keystoned`	Store session transcripts durably.
`kssessiond`	Keep long conversations going across context limits and restarts.
`kssession`	Inspect sessions and send requests to the session service.
`ksfork`	Branch a session so a later review can reuse what an earlier one learned.

Feedback

Command	What it's for
`kssignal`	Report friction (missing, vague, noisy, or conflicting inputs) and rare exceptional successes.
`kssentinal`	Scan recorded signals for recurring and stale problems, without changing them.
`ksscout`	Queue bounded research missions and follow them from launch to findings.

Infrastructure and resources

Command	What it's for
`ksinfra`	AWS and Terraform work with receipts: deployments, migrations, restores, rollbacks, health, and cost.
`kssteward`	Resource authority and spending records.
`ksbench`	Benchmarks over pinned fixtures, and regression gates for promoting new builds.

Voice and devices

Command	What it's for
`kscapture`	Record voice and transcribe it locally, keeping the link between the text and the recording.
`ksvoice`	Turn Keystone pages and other text into speech.
`ksrelay`	Let enrolled devices read project files and send commands over the network. Pre-production.
`ksfolio`	Developer tools for Folio, Keystone's tablet reading app.

Builders

Command	What it's for
`kshack`	Build a project-specific command-line workbench for agents from a reviewed spec.
`ksillustrator`	Suggest, record, and check illustrations for Keystone pages.
`ksblueprint`	Query and check these docs. It is being renamed `ksdocs`.
